So, to be clear, I need to map capslock -> F8 (key code 100, as if pressing Fn+play/pause) And leave alone the play/pause as in pressing the key without Fn KTamas

When I've tried it, I get surprised and disappointed: some mappings clearly do not work. Normally, you would press F6 repeatedly the moment you see the F6 prompt, and not stop till it goes away, think next step is F2... Check to see if your F6 functions normally now. I mean it's possible the BIOS needs flashing but it still shouldn't be an issue.
