My only way around this currently is to stop the spooler, clear the folder, restart the computer and the printer. Yes, I'm finding what seems to be the same wierd files each time I give the print command for a pic. Your suggestion to delete shock wave > files in the spool\printers directory did the trick. Launch task manager, go to Processes, add the PID column, note the PID (Process ID) for spoolsv.exe.
