The router and the cable modeminsist I SHOULD be on the net, and my computer, which is the final arbiter, insists that I'm not. It's the same set of changes, just performed for a different page. It's really a good idea if you change the default SSID in the router to something else though. I'm on a Mac, so I'm not sure how to run the equivalent of the tests you've described earlier.
